Gary Aldridge, who is tied for 6th in the SAA with a 1.56 ERA, never let the Turbeaus get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his slider, to pitch the Fighting Imps to a win, 5-0. At 15-12, the Fighting Imps find themselves in 5th place in the Silver AA.

Walt Meyer was a prime contributor to the Ithaca win. He went 1 for 4. In the bottom of the fourth with one out, the 26-year old shortstop hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 1-0, in favor of the Fighting Imps.

"Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good," said Aldridge.
