White Walkers Score Late to Nip Lighthouse, 3-2
|
Jeffrey Garrett, who finished 2nd in the PL in innings pitched with 146.2 in 2054, was locked in. The left-hander led the Buffalo White Walkers to a 3-2 win against the Long Island Lighthouse at The Lighthouse. The White Walkers improved their record to 35-48 with the win over Long Island.
With a runner on 1st and two out in the top of the seventh inning, shortstop Iverson Allen delivered big for the White Walkers. Buffalo was trailing 2-0 when he belted a 2-run home run.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Garrett.
