Cangrejos Fantasmas Sneak Past Turbeaus, 1-0
The Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas wiggled past the Gulf Coast Turbeaus, 1-0, at Ghost Crab Park. The win was highlighted by the performance of Chesapeake pitcher Maurice Richards. Chesapeake reliever Michael Sawyer got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Lien-ying Cheung was tagged with the loss. The losses continue to pile up for Gulf Coast, which has now fallen 10 times in a row.

The Cangrejos Fantasmas got a clutch hit from second baseman Ken Ervin. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to left, to win the game for the Cangrejos Fantasmas.

"To become 'battle-tested,'" said Ervin, "you need to compete in this kind of contest."
