Turbeaus Come Up Short at Lake Murray, 3-2
|
Starting pitcher Christian Craigen gave the Lake Murray MotorBoaters a rock-solid effort. The Pine Island Ridge, Florida native helped his team defeat the Gulf Coast Turbeaus, 3-2, at Heron Field. Lake Murray is 9th in the Silver AA with a record of 13-19.
John Cobb had a critical at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the sixth for Lake Murray. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Lake Murray in front, 3-0.
"Every loss stings," said Gulf Coast manager Neal Davis. "This one is no exception."
