The Squirrel Hill Pierogis beat the Barton Springs Blues, 9-1, at Field of the Rawhides. Squirrel Hill center fielder Anthony Brown had the hot bat. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once. Squirrel Hill has now won 5 games in a row.

In the bottom of the second, Brown had one of his most important at-bats: a 2-run single off William Richmond that staked the Pierogis to a 2-0 lead.
