Thunder Pick Up 7-4 Win Against Toledo
The St. Petersburg Thunder topped the Toledo Saboteurs, 7-4, with catcher Spencer Jeffries playing a big role. Jeffries went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Thunder in the win. The Thunder now have a record of 17-20.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Thunder surged ahead when Jeffries muscled his 6th home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Tom Womack made it 5-3, St. Petersburg.

"Nervous? No," said Jeffries. "It was my time to shine."
