Rocketeers Beat Shredders, 7-6
|
The Seattle Rocketeers trumped the Hollywood Shredders, 7-6, at The Hollywood Bowl. Seattle second baseman Luigi Mangione was terrific. He was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Rocketeers sit in 6th place in the Premier League with a record of 40-44.
Mangione broke a deadlock in the top of the sixth inning, when he hit a run-scoring single, putting Seattle up, 7-6.
"You can't hate how you win if you win," said Seattle skipper Andrew Powell.
