The New Orleans Voodoo got a superb performance from pitcher Fernando Fonseca, but the Buffalo White Walkers still won the game, 2-1. Fonseca threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The White Walkers sit in last place in the Premier League with a record of 32-52.

Chris Adams's at-bat with no one out in the top of the ninth was critical. The Buffalo pinch hitter hit a sacrifice fly, to put his team on top, 2-1. Runs were at a premium and this one was huge.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said New Orleans manager Chase Sims.
