The Gulf Coast Turbeaus pushed past the Squirrel Hill Pierogis, 10-8, in 10 innings at Field of the Rawhides. TeiTetua Kalepa was 1-2 with a home run and 3 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once, to lead the charge. With the victory, the Turbeaus record stands at 22-19.

The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Kalepa delivered big-time for Gulf Coast, stroking a dramatic 3-run home run off Eugene Ingram. The game-changing hit put the Turbeaus on top, 10-7.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Gulf Coast manager Melvin McCullough.
