Squirrel Hill third baseman Dae-sung Pak made his presence felt in the 9-6 Pierogis triumph over the Arizona Javelina. Pak was 3-4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Diego Manchego earned the save for Squirrel Hill. The Pierogis now own a record of 20-24.

In the bottom of the eighth, Pak put his team in front with his 5th triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which came against Pedro De Jesús, made it 8-6, Squirrel Hill.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Pak.
