Polar Bears Snatch Late-Game, 3-2 Win

The Billings Polar Bears beat the Lake Murray MotorBoaters, 3-2, in 10 innings. Billings pitcher and Sanatoga, Pennsylvania, native Alan Lyons led the way. With the win, the Polar Bears have a record of 18-27.
The decisive blow was delivered in the bottom of the tenth when John Sears hit a run-scoring double off 24-year old left-handed pitcher Pedro Ramírez to win the game for Billings. The home crowd went wild.
"That was fun, that was just good baseball," said Lyons.
