Gonzalo Roldán never let the Whales get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his sinker, to pitch the Ogres to a win, 5-1. Earning his 1st save of the year was Kahakuokahale Nakaunicina. Olympia has now won 5 straight.

The Ogres got a big at-bat from designated hitter Alfredo Robles. For the game, Robles was 1 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Olympia a 2-1 lead.
