MotorBoaters Use Late Score to Top Javelina, 3-2

Arizona got a big-time effort from pitcher Kenny Wallace, but it wasn't enough to keep the Lake Murray MotorBoaters from winning the game, 3-2. Wallace threw 7.1 innings of shutout ball for the losing team. Carson Cash earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. With this game in the books, Lake Murray is 32-25, Arizona 23-34.
The most critical at-bat came in the top of the 11th inning. With no one out, Al Anderson hit a 2-0 fastball from Pedro De Jesús for a run-scoring single. It put Lake Murray in front, 3-2.
"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Arizona manager Ricky O'Toole.
