Lake Murray MotorBoaters starter Craig Jacobs pitched his team past the Northville Eclipse, 3-2, in 11 innings. The 'W' lifts Lake Murray's record to 23-34.
The climactic moment came in the bottom of the 11th for Lake Murray. That's when Brian Martin, who is tied for 8th in the SAA in bases on balls with 25, hit a run-scoring double off Nick Brandt to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.
Jacobs said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
