The Northville Eclipse picked up a win at Field of Plenty, knocking off the Providence Pilgrims, 6-2. Starting pitcher Martín Hernández played a key role in the triumph. Northville needed the clutch hitting of Melvin Williams to notch the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Eclipse on top, 6-2. For the game, Williams had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
