Zander Daig was superb against Baltimore. The right-hander, who is tied for 10th in the PL in quality starts with 10, had a cutter that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a White Walkers victory. The score was 8-3. Daig, now 6-5, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 9, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. With the win, the White Walkers have a record of 44-42.

Rob Jackson had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the fifth for Buffalo. With runners on 1st and 3rd and the White Walkers leading 2-1, he hit a run-scoring single.

Jackson called the win "a collective effort."
