Yi Excels in 7-4 Hollywood Win
|
The Hollywood Shredders stopped the New Orleans Voodoo, 7-4, at The Hollywood Bowl. The Shredders got a big game from Soo-keun Yi, who went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Vic Byrd earned the save for Hollywood, his 20th. The Shredders sit in 5th place in the Premier League with a record of 45-41.
Yi made an early impact for Hollywood when he stroked his 27th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came in the bottom of the third, put the Shredders on top, 4-0.
"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Yi.
