Casper second baseman Mike Blake was instrumental in helping the Ghosts triumph, 7-6, over the Minnesota Loons. Blake was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Wesley Edwards earned the save for Casper, his 3rd of the year. With the win, the Ghosts improved to 27-33.

In the bottom of the sixth, Casper pinch hitter Bastian Booger put his team on top. With no one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit his 3rd home run of the year. Minnesota pitcher Luis Ruíz served it up. Just like that, the Ghosts were ahead, 7-6.

"We found a way to get it done," Blake said.
