Squirrel Hill Wins, 7-6, Over Thunder
The Squirrel Hill Pierogis wiggled past the St. Petersburg Thunder, 7-6, in 10 innings at Baby Thunder Dome. The win was highlighted by the performance of Squirrel Hill left fielder Tomás Orro. Allen Larson, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. The Pierogis now have a record of 30-31.

Orro had a game-changing double in the top of the tenth. On a 0-1 fastball from Keith Greene, he banged a run-scoring double to left-center, giving the Pierogis a 7-6 lead. It was the 8th double of the year for Orro.

"It never gets old," said Orro. "Winning, that is."
