Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Shredders
Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Hollywood Shredders and Buffalo White Walkers.

The Hollywood Shredders defeated the Buffalo White Walkers, 4-1, in United States Premier League action at The Hollywood Bowl. Hollywood pitcher Tom Ward had a standout performance. Arturo Gutiérrez picked up the save for Hollywood, his 5th of the year.

Hollywood went in front, 3-1, on Soo-keun Yi's 3rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Yi hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Buffalo pitcher Mario Rosales visibly perturbed.

"Bottom line," said Buffalo skipper Chris Lau, "we didn't play well enough to win."

The Shredders raised their record to 6-3.
