White Walkers Claim 6-4 Win
|
The Buffalo White Walkers overcame a good performance by Seattle second baseman Luigi Mangione to knock off Seattle, 6-4, at Boeing Dome. Mangione hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Howard Randolph picked up the win, lifting his record to 3-3 on the season. He struck out 4 and walked 0 in 6 innings, while yielding 4 runs. The save was credited to Andrew Haney, his 2nd.
Kyung-chul Son had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the sixth for Buffalo. With the bases loaded and the White Walkers leading 5-3, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Son told the Buffalo Observer.
The second-place Rocketeers have lost 4 straight games.
