Starting pitcher Artie Jones pitched well enough to help the Gulf Coast Turbeaus beat the Lake Murray MotorBoaters, 5-3. Kenny Flint sewed up the save, his 14th. With the victory, the Turbeaus record stands at 34-28.

Gulf Coast used the hitting of Steve Bullard to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Turbeaus on top, 2-0. For the game, Bullard had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
