Though he had a terrific game, Dennis Buchanan could not prevent his team, the Lake Murray MotorBoaters, from absorbing a loss. Barton Springs won the game, 7-6. Buchanan was 4 for 5 with 4 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Barton Springs reliever Alonso Romero was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Ismael Novian. The Blues now own a record of 28-36.

Barton Springs used the timely hitting of Chris Knight to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Blues on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
