Marquette Stadium was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Marquette Miners and Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas.

The Marquette Miners picked up a win at Marquette Stadium, knocking off the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas, 4-3, in 10 innings. On the mound for Marquette was left-hander Bryan Ogle. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. The winner was Chad López in relief. His record improves to 5-6. William Collins took the loss.

The Miners relied on first baseman Len Ríos for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Chesapeake skipper John Moore.

The triumph puts Marquette at 39-30 for the season.
