Guinea Pigs third baseman Chris Cook left his imprint on his team's 4-2 win over the Lake Murray MotorBoaters. Cook was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Gwinnett in the contest. Matt Griffin sewed up the save, his 17th. With Gwinnett trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Cook hit a fastball from Bill Marshall for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Guinea Pigs ahead, 3-1.
