In a low-scoring contest between the Barton Springs Blues and the Providence Pilgrims, Warner Alder, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2057 draft, proved to be the difference. The Barton Springs right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-0 Blues win. Barton Springs is now 31-40, Providence 35-36.

Alder confounded Providence hitters. Over 8 innings, he allowed no runs on 5 hits.
