Arizona Loses Again, 6-2
|
Pedro Cabral had a strong outing for the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas against the Arizona Javelina at Javelina Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 6-2 win. Cabral yielded 2 runs over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 5-5. The Javelina, at 26-45, have lost 9 in a row.
The Cangrejos Fantasmas got an important contribution from designated hitter Bob Peters, who in the top of the fourth knocked a 2-1 fastball to left for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Cangrejos Fantasmas ahead, 6-2.
