Lighthouse Use Late Surge to Win
Long Island picked up a win at Wolf Den in Vancouver, bumping off the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 5-2. Pitcher Bhu Pahayahay was a major reason the Lighthouse emerged victorious. The 7th-place Lighthouse have a record of 39-49.

Long Island used the clutch hitting of Seong-ryong Kwon to snag the win. The catcher drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Lighthouse ahead, 5-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Long Island skipper Michael Esposito.
