Toledo Saboteurs starter Pat Kirkpatrick pitched a strong game against the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks at Thunder Hawks Ballpark, leading the Saboteurs to victory, 5-3. Kirkpatrick got the win, improving to 3-7. He gave up 6 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. He allowed 3 runs. The Saboteurs now own a record of 37-37.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Lance Guy? The Toledo shortstop had a run-scoring walk in the top of the sixth inning to put the Saboteurs on top, 5-3. For the game, Guy had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
