Loons Lay Egg, Lose 12-2 to Barton Springs

Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Barton Springs Blues and Minnesota Loons.
The Barton Springs Blues had no problem beating the Minnesota Loons, 12-2, at Blues Field. Garry Brown led the onslaught. He was 3-4 with 3 singles. He scored 3 runs for Barton Springs. The winner was Jing-yu Xú in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Conner Dixon took the loss.
John Edmiston had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the second for Barton Springs. With the bases loaded and the Blues leading 2-1, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Brown told the Barton Springs Bulletin.
At 33-41, Barton Springs is in 8th place in the Silver AA.
