Barton Springs designated hitter Mike Harris was sensational. He was 3 for 3 with 3 singles and 2 walks. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Squirrel Hill beat the Blues, 8-3. Clarence Hayes earned the win for Squirrel Hill. He lasted 6.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 4-6. The Pierogis go to 33-44, putting them 9th in the Silver AA.

Shan-tang Zhou took Barton Springs hurler William Richmond deep in the bottom of the fifth. His 2-run home run put the Pierogis on top, 4-3. In all, Zhou had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.
