Squirrel Hill Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Squirrel Hill Pierogis had to overcome a good performance from Lake Murray pitcher Paul Ramsey to claim a 3-2 win at Field of the Rawhides. Ramsey went 6.2 innings and allowed no runs. Eugene Ingram, 2-2, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. The Pierogis sit in 6th place in the Silver AA with a record of 39-41.

Michael Jones was the walk-off hero for Squirrel Hill. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Pierogis second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
