Fur Traders Lose Late, 5-3
|
Ryan Hudson led Lake Murray to a win over Tacoma. The final score was 5-3. The Vero Beach, Florida native collected 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Jeff Watson came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record now stands at 2-3. Lucas Dean earned the save for Lake Murray, his 19th of the year.
Lake Murray took a 5-3 lead on Hudson's 8th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Richard Pagnal in the top of the eighth, propelled Lake Murray to the win.
"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Hudson.
The 4th-place MotorBoaters now have a record of 42-38.
