The Boston Patriots, despite a fine performance by Philadelphia pitcher Miguel Velázquez, grabbed a 3-2 win at Dunkin Donuts Park. Velázquez allowed 2 runs over 7 innings. Iiri Lahti claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record stands at 1-0. Boston goes to 7-2.
