Chesapeake turned a good performance from starting pitcher José Bautista into a 6-1 triumph over the Providence Pilgrims at Ghost Crab Park. Chesapeake, at 55-27, is 7 games up in the Silver AA.

Juan Flores had a big bases-clearing double for the Cangrejos Fantasmas in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Chesapeake leading 3-0 and the bases loaded, he got a screwball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Andre Witney and swatted a double to right. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cangrejos Fantasmas ahead, 6-0.

Flores attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
