The Northville Eclipse knocked off the Virginia Beach Whales, 10-4, at Old-Timers Park. Thomas Spencer was a big reason Northville won. The center fielder was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The winning pitcher was B.J. McLean. His record is now 12-6. The right-hander went 7.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 5 hits for the Eclipse. The first-place Eclipse raised their record to 48-36.
