Eclipse Rally to Win
The Northville Eclipse had to weather a strong performance from Ft. Polk South pitcher Bobby Mixson before claiming a 3-2 win in 13 innings. Mixson went 9 innings and allowed 2 runs. Northville reliever Allen Oliver got the win, raising his record to 3-2. Luis Rodríguez was tagged with the loss. Apia Manumakalii earned his 12th save, after closing out the game.

The most important at-bat for Northville came in the top of the 13th inning, when left fielder Steven Sas stroked a 0-1 fastball to center for a run-scoring single, putting Northville up, 3-2.

"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Ft. Polk South manager Manuel Sánchez.

The win elevated the Eclipse to 44-40.
