The Gulf Coast Turbeaus beat the Squirrel Hill Pierogis, 7-6, in 10 innings, in part because of catcher TeiTetua Kalepa. He went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The first-place Turbeaus have a record of 53-31.

The Turbeaus got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Mark Glenn. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Turbeaus.
