Kevin Coleville never let Squirrel Hill get something going. The Billings right-hander commanded his slider in pitching the Polar Bears to a 5-0 win. Coleville picked up the win for Billings, going 6.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 3-7. Mark Mitchell picked up the save for Billings, his 1st of the year.
Billings took the lead, 4-0, on Sergio Costello's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Squirrel Hill pitcher José Sandoval in the top of the ninth.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Billings skipper Justin Broadfoot.
The 9th-place Polar Bears now have a win-loss record of 37-49.
