Jason Kofod was terrific for the Seattle Rocketeers in his team's 5-1 triumph over the Toledo Stingers. His performance earned Kofod rave reviews. In 7 innings, Kofod surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 0. He allowed 1 run. With the win, the Rocketeers improved to 44-45.

Seattle got a lift in the bottom of the sixth from right fielder Chong-hun Chon, who hit a sinker to right for a 2-run home run. His 14th home run of the season put the Rocketeers up, 3-1.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Seattle skipper Andrew Powell.
