Blues Prevail, 5-3, Over Toledo

The Barton Springs Blues topped the Toledo Saboteurs, 5-3, in USSL Double A action at Blues Field. The standout performance belonged to Barton Springs pitcher and Brandon, South Dakota, native Jonathan Rasmussen. The Blues saw their win-loss record go to 41-47. At the same time, the Saboteurs fell to 38-50.
The Blues got a big at-bat from center fielder Teuvo Vihermaa. For the game, Vihermaa was 1-2 with a double, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 6th double of the season gave Barton Springs a 3-2 lead.
"It never gets old," said Rasmussen. "Winning, that is."
