A good performance from shortstop Iverson Allen helped the Buffalo White Walkers defeat the Boston Patriots, 5-2. Allen went 1-2, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the White Walkers. Buffalo has now won 4 straight.
With the game tied, 2-2, in the bottom of the seventh, Allen had a key at-bat for Buffalo. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Allen hit a run-scoring single off Eric Buchanan, making the score 3-2, White Walkers.
"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Allen told the Buffalo Herald.
