Fans watched the Buffalo White Walkers and the Boston Patriots fight to the finish.
The Buffalo White Walkers dealt the Boston Patriots a 6-5 loss at Dunkin Donuts Park. Andrés Durán was the star on offense. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The winner was Buffalo reliever Nick O'Day, now 2-5. The loser was Jim Everhart.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the seventh, with the game tied, Spencer Bonnar was at the plate when Buffalo scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the White Walkers to go in front, 6-5.
"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Durán told the Buffalo Bulletin.
Buffalo is now 33-56, Boston 50-39.
