Ithaca picked up a win at Imps Park, bumping off the Northville Eclipse, 5-2. Pitcher Raúl Santos was a major reason the Fighting Imps emerged victorious. The Fighting Imps go to 43-48, putting them 6th in the Silver AA.

The Eclipse had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Fighting Imps going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 22-year old right fielder Gerald Jones came to the plate. Jones hit a 2-run home run on a 1-1 splitter from Northville hurler Mannus Klapwijk. It was Jones's 8th home run of the year.

"Raúl made his pitches," said Ithaca manager Jeffrey Lewis.
