Scooter Fisher did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Providence Pilgrims from being beaten, 8-6, to the Lake Murray MotorBoaters at Heron Field. Fisher went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. Ismael Novian earned the save, his 2nd. The MotorBoaters are now 55-37.

The MotorBoaters got a big at-bat from designated hitter Brad Skinner, who in the bottom of the second hit a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the MotorBoaters on top, 4-1.

"We came out aggressive," said MotorBoaters manager David Buchanan. "We came out swinging the bats."
