The Billings Polar Bears topped the Minnesota Loons, 8-2, in USSL Double A action at Loony Bin. The game was highlighted by the performance of Billings pitcher James Potts. The winner was Potts. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball. The loser was Alexander Shuker. The Polar Bears raised their record to 44-48.

Juan Peña had a big hit for Billings in the top of the third inning. With Billings leading 2-0, Peña hit a run-scoring double. It was his 15th double of the season and put the Polar Bears up, 3-0.
