Highlanders Earn Win with Late Rally
The Asheville Highlanders faced a tough opponent in Billings pitcher Robin MacVicar, but still scratched out a win at Asheville Park by a final score of 3-2 in 10 innings. MacVicar went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Edward Lamb, now 3-5, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. Asheville is now 50-43. Billings is 31-62.

The Highlanders relied on second baseman Marcel Alberink for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
