Voodoo Go Down to Defeat, 3-1
|
Starting pitcher Brandon Fox gave the Toronto Thunder a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the New Orleans Voodoo, 3-1, at Thunder Field. The save was credited to Ron Murphy, his 23rd. The setback makes New Orleans 53-37.
The Thunder benefited from an error in the bottom of the sixth inning. Toronto was trailing 1-0 when Justin Allen hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Toronto in front, 2-1.
"I went out and just tried to do my job," said Fox.
