Polar Bears Get One-Run Win at Asheville
Billings Polar Bears starter Tom Phillips turned in a sparkling performance against the Asheville Highlanders, leading his team to a 3-2 win. Phillips yielded 1 run over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 3-3. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Polar Bears.

Billings used the timely hitting of Felipe Fierro to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Polar Bears on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
