The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks wiggled past the Olympia Ogres, 1-0, at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. The win was highlighted by the performance of Ft. Polk South pitcher Colby Hopkins. Ft. Polk South reliever Lloyd Anderson picked up the win, upping his record to 5-4. Josh Barnette took the loss. The Thunder Hawks now have a record of 44-53 with the win over Olympia.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 14th inning, when Ft. Polk South second baseman Josh Miller, facing Josh Barnette, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Thunder Hawks the 1-0 win.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Miller told the Ft. Polk South Chronicle.
