Highlanders Pick Up 3-1 Win Over Toledo
|
Ray Campbell pitched a gem to lead Asheville to victory over the Toledo Saboteurs, 3-1. Chris Castle got the save, the 2nd for him this season. The Saboteurs, at 42-57, have lost 4 straight games.
Manny Feliciano, the 20th overall pick in the 2059 draft, aided the Asheville cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the third. For the game, the second baseman went 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
"Every loss stings," said Toledo manager Rodney Dudley. "This one is no exception."
