Ghosts Grind Out 2-0 Win
|
In a low-scoring game between the Casper Ghosts and the Marquette Miners, pitcher Don Walker was masterful on the mound. The Casper left-hander spearheaded his team's 2-0 win. Casper, at 48-51, holds down 8th place in the Silver AA.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Ghosts had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fourth, when center fielder Matt Banks hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Bryan Ogle and made the score 1-0, Ghosts. Banks went 1-3 with a walk.
"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Banks. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
