Everhart Now 14-3 Following 3-1 Win
|
Jim Everhart, who is on pace to win 17 games this season, imposed his will on the White Walkers from the get-go. Relying mainly on his cutter, the right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 Boston triumph. Iiri Lahti sewed up the save, his 14th. The first-place Patriots, at 55-35, lead the Premier League by 4½ games.
Boston starter Jim Everhart pitched like a boss. The 6-foot-1 right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit over 8 innings.
"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Everhart.
