Shredders Pull Out Late Win, 5-4
The Hollywood Shredders picked up a win at The Hollywood Bowl, knocking off the Toledo Stingers, 5-4. Starting pitcher Dustin Burgess was a big reason why. The winner in relief was Arturo Gutiérrez. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. Toledo now is 4-5.

Esteban Ortega was the walk-off hero for Hollywood. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Shredders right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Burgess.
